Allowing enables these OpenAI-dependent features for this sign-in. You can optionally remember approval for your account on future sign-ins, until you turn it off or this disclosure changes. Before signing in, permission covers only account-creation safety checks; the new account needs its own approval. Declining leaves these actions off; the map and features that do not need this processing remain available.

This does not enable optional photo AI memory or community learning. Those remain separate choices.

Share a pin, track, drawing or boundary

Send one useful field item without exposing the rest of your library.

  1. 01

    Open the exact item

    Find the pin, trail, drawing or boundary you intend to send. Use its Share control where available; Saved trails includes a direct Share action.

  2. 02

    Review the recipient and content

    Choose the available private destination and review the selected geometry and any note options. Send only the field details you intend the recipient to receive.

  3. 03

    Inspect a received item

    Open the shared item from the private conversation to preview it on the map. Review its location before choosing Save to Locker. Receiving a message does not automatically add every item to your private collection.

  4. 04

    Understand a shared copy

    A saved copy is separate from the sender's original. Later edits or deletion of that original do not guarantee removal or changes to another person's saved copy. Use file export for transfers to other mapping products.
