Share team pins and live location
Choose what your active hunt can see and recognize stale location information.
- 01
Choose location sharing
In the same active hunt, open Your field settings. Turn on Share location only if you want this hunt to receive your position. You can view teammates without sharing your own location.
- 02
Read position freshness
Enable the Group Hunt map layer if it was hidden. Check Recent GPS, Waiting for GPS or Location may be stale on a member card. An activity such as At stand is separate from a fresh position.
- 03
Choose the pin audience
Select Team pins under Hunt → New map pins, then place a pin. Review the hunt, exact coordinates and note before choosing Share pin. Switch back to Private pins when you want personal markers.
- 04
Manage only what you own
Open Shared pins or tap your shared pin to edit it. Authors edit their own pins; organizers have removal controls for moderation. A teammate's saved private copy does not update when you later edit the group copy.
- 05
Use help alerts appropriately
Need help sends an in-app alert with your shared location after confirmation. Members must be connected with the app open to receive the popup. Turn location sharing off when you no longer want to share.
