Choose how you want to hunt
Name the hunt and optionally select a saved stand, saddle, blind or glassing pin. Choose whether to Record my GPS trail and enable Quiet field check-ins. You can use Live Hunt with notes only.
Name a private hunt and choose a saved setup if useful. Live Hunt can keep a journal with or without a GPS trail. - 02
Start and check location
Choose Start Hunt and review the GPS confirmation if recording. Wait for a fresh position and inspect its accuracy. Check wind at your hunt and any selected setup; nearby-setup suggestions still require your choice.
- 03
Log a field update
Choose the observation type and add a short note. For movement or a sighting, include direction when known. Choose whether to include your location and inspect the saved update to confirm what was recorded.
Record a factual update and choose whether to include your current position. A selected stand is not substituted for GPS. - 04
Use the existing track controls
Open GPS controls to pause, resume or review the trail. If a separate recording was already running, use the offered control to link it deliberately to Live Hunt.
- 05
Finish both the hunt and the trail
End the hunt and review its recap. Ending Live Hunt stops its linked GPS recording; the trail remains ready to save in Track. Save it there and wait for account confirmation. A separate, unlinked recording is managed in Track.
Review the hunt summary after ending it. This notes-only demonstration correctly shows that GPS was not recorded.
