Hunt Intel

Research tags, applications, points and camping

Build a private preparation worksheet and continue to the official agency when ready.

Where to start in the appApp menu → Explore Hunts
  1. 01

    Explore the directory

Choose Explore Hunts. In Discover, filter by state, species, hunt or unit. Expand the additional filters for residency, method, application year and hunting dates. Read the coverage label; not every hunt is listed.

Start with the agency directory and available detailed references. Check the coverage notice before preparing an application.
  2. 02

    Save and compare opportunities

Open View & prepare to inspect requirements and source dates. Save relevant programs to My Applications. Compare up to three references, then review unknown or conditional fees with the agency.

  3. 03

    Understand Draw points

Draw points filters agency point opportunities for future draws. VENATRIQ does not earn or purchase points for you. After checking your agency account, record the balance under My Applications → My points.

  4. 04

Use the worksheet and official portal

Prepare your private notes, then follow the confirmed official website handoff to apply or pay. Return and update your status yourself. A saved worksheet is not an application or proof of an issued license.

  5. 05

    Plan the trip

Use Plan this trip for a checklist, Camping for available listings, and Calendar for saved deadlines. Calendar export is a snapshot. Verify reservations, source changes and official dates directly.

Research places near a hunt by map location and radius. Only the listed provider can confirm current availability or a reservation.
