Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Venatriq ("VENATRIQ," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your use of VENATRIQ applications and websites, maps, Hunt Intel, Property Brain, Group Hunt, subscriptions, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). Features and purchase options depend on the version and platform you use; these Terms do not announce availability in any app store.

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Venatriq is based in DeLand, Florida, United States. Availability of a website does not mean that every feature, map dataset, subscription, or hunting activity is supported in every country. Mandatory consumer and privacy protections that apply where you live are not waived by these Terms.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms and supervise activities as required by law. Hunting and firearm use may be subject to higher ages, training, licensing, and direct-supervision rules.

You must provide accurate information, maintain one account for your own use unless we authorize otherwise, protect your credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account to the extent permitted by law.

Third-party sign-in services may have separate terms. A username is not ownership of a word or identity, and we may change or reclaim usernames that impersonate others, infringe rights, mislead users, or create security concerns.

Usernames are unique; display names are not exclusive. Names and profile images must follow our content standards. Basic profile identity can be discoverable by other signed-in hunters; review your profile visibility and sharing preferences before adding information.

Subject to these Terms, VENATRIQ grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for lawful personal or internal hunting-planning purposes.

VENATRIQ and its licensors own the Services, product design, software, models, workflows, visual identity, databases, compiled map presentation, documentation, and other protected materials, excluding your content and third-party materials. No rights are granted except those expressly stated here.

You may not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, scrape, systematically extract, bypass access controls, or use the Services to build a competing dataset or product except where applicable law expressly permits and that permission cannot be waived.

You retain ownership of the pins, tracks, routes, boundaries, photos, messages, notes, property memories, observations, and other content you submit ("User Content"). You grant VENATRIQ a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt for technical formatting, display, and transmit User Content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and improve the Services and to apply the sharing choices you make.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit and share User Content and that it does not violate law, privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, confidentiality, or contractual rights. Do not upload confidential landowner information or another person's precise location without permission.

We may remove or restrict content that reasonably appears unlawful, unsafe, infringing, malicious, or inconsistent with these Terms. We are not obligated to monitor every item of User Content.

Optional shared learning uses eligible structured feedback only when you enable that setting, as described in the Privacy Policy. This license does not transfer ownership of your field data or mean that third-party AI models automatically train themselves on your private content.

Free and paid plans may have different features, states, properties, AI usage, Group Hunt limits, storage, or data access. Current inclusions and prices are shown before purchase. We may change plans or prices prospectively, with notice where required.

Unless stated otherwise at checkout, paid subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price and billing interval until canceled. You authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the selected payment method. Taxes may apply.

You can cancel through the account or purchase platform used to subscribe. Cancellation stops future renewal as described by that platform and does not ordinarily provide a prorated refund for the current period, except where required by law or the applicable purchase terms. Cancel before the renewal deadline displayed by the provider. Trials and promotions have additional terms only when actually offered.

If you purchase through Apple's App Store, manage or cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings and request eligible refunds from Apple. If you purchase through Google Play, manage or cancel in Google Play subscriptions and follow Google Play's refund process or contact support where its policy directs. Store decisions and mandatory consumer rights apply; VENATRIQ cannot promise a store refund. For an eligible store purchase, use the purchase-restoration or subscription-sync option in the version you purchased, with the same store account and the VENATRIQ account associated with that purchase. Restoration verifies an existing entitlement; it is not a new purchase, a refund, or an automatic transfer to another account or store. Contact support before buying again if access is missing. Do not purchase a second subscription to resolve a pending restoration.

Self-service account deletion cancels a connected Stripe subscription before account cleanup completes. This does not automatically issue a refund, remove billing records, or waive amounts already owed. If billing is unavailable, the deletion request remains pending and retries automatically. Deleting your VENATRIQ account or uninstalling an application does not by itself cancel an Apple or Google subscription. Cancel separately with the store even if you also request account deletion; contact support if you cannot access billing controls.

Hunt Intel allowances are enforced by the service and shown in your account. Monthly allowances use calendar-month windows in UTC, which may differ from your subscription billing date. Clearing AI memory does not reset usage. Complimentary field-test access does not grant administrator privileges.

Stripe, Apple, Google, or another payment provider may process payment information under its own terms. VENATRIQ stores subscription and transaction references, not full card numbers.

If you obtain an iOS application through Apple's App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the application license unless a separate custom EULA is expressly provided with that store listing. These Terms govern your VENATRIQ service account and related services without limiting non-waivable rights under the applicable EULA or law.

Google Play purchases and distribution are also subject to applicable Google Play terms. References to either store do not mean that Apple or Google endorses VENATRIQ or guarantees its maps, AI recommendations, or availability.

Parcel boundaries, ownership labels, public-land layers, easements, roads, trails, access points, water, wetlands, terrain, imagery, and closures may be generalized, incomplete, delayed, outdated, or inaccurate. They are planning aids, not legal surveys, deeds, title reports, or proof of permission.

Before entering or hunting land, independently confirm property ownership, permission, legal access, boundaries, restrictions, and current closures using landowner confirmation and authoritative government records. Posted signs, gates, agency orders, and real field conditions control over the app.

Do not rely on VENATRIQ as your only navigation method. Carry appropriate offline maps, power, communication, emergency, and survival equipment for the conditions.

The current map experience uses hosted services and requires connectivity for functions such as loading uncached maps, account synchronization, and AI requests. Device or browser caches do not make it a complete offline navigation application.

Hunt Intel and related features generate probabilistic planning suggestions from available terrain, weather, species, weapon, access, and saved evidence. Output may be incomplete, incorrect, inconsistent, or unsuitable for current field conditions. Confidence describes the available evidence, not a guarantee of animal presence, hunting success, or safety.

AI-generated locations, habitat areas, routes, labels, summaries, and interpretations must be independently reviewed. VENATRIQ does not guarantee that a recommended point is huntable, accessible, inside a lawful boundary, free from hazards, or suitable for your skills or equipment.

Weather and environmental information can change quickly. Use current authoritative weather alerts and your direct observations. VENATRIQ is not an emergency, medical, rescue, firearm-safety, legal, or professional land-survey service.

Group Hunt allows members to share content and, when enabled, live location. Review the hunt and sharing controls before participating. Pins dropped in an active hunt may be saved to that hunt group as indicated in the interface.

Location delivery can be delayed or inaccurate because of signal, device, battery, permission, or service conditions. Never use member location as a substitute for direct communication, visual target identification, backstop awareness, or emergency procedures.

Hunt owners and members must use shared information responsibly. Do not invite unauthorized people, expose private property information, track someone without consent, or use Group Hunt to facilitate unsafe or unlawful activity.

Ending a hunt removes its live map overlays when participants receive the updated state, but does not erase the hunt history, messages, or copies members deliberately saved. Panning the map does not turn off location sharing. Browser GPS may pause in the background or with a locked screen, including when web content is displayed within an application. Supported native builds offer a separate recorder after explicit activation and device permission, but operating-system restrictions, force quitting, battery settings, or poor signals can interrupt it. Installing an application does not guarantee continuous tracking or background Group Hunt sharing.

Need help alerts notify participants in the app when delivery is available. They do not contact emergency services and may not be seen immediately. Use an appropriate emergency communication method when necessary.

You are solely responsible for complying with licenses, tags, seasons, bag limits, weapon and ammunition rules, shooting hours, hunter-orange requirements, access rules, protected-species rules, and all other applicable laws. Regulation summaries must be verified against current agency publications.

Never use the Services to poach, trespass, harass wildlife, evade law enforcement, shoot across prohibited areas, create an unsafe shot, or violate landowner restrictions. Identify the target and what lies beyond it, use appropriate equipment, and apply trained field judgment.

Our Acceptable Use Policy is incorporated into these Terms.

The Services depend on third-party maps, imagery, terrain, weather, AI, authentication, payment, email, hosting, and other providers. Their content, availability, accuracy, and terms are outside our complete control. Your use of a linked or integrated third-party service may be governed by its own terms and privacy policy.

Separately offered website testing programs and preview features may be incomplete, change, or be withdrawn. Participation in a website testing program is not evidence of app-store availability or approval. No version of the Services should be relied on for safety-critical decisions.

We may add, modify, limit, or discontinue features; perform maintenance; or temporarily interrupt the Services. When a change materially affects a paid plan, we will provide notice or remedies as required by law.

You may stop using the Services and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the Services, investigate suspected misuse, address nonpayment, comply with law, or enforce these Terms. When practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, payment obligations, warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability, dispute terms, and licenses needed for retained backups or legally required records.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." VENATRIQ disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation or that maps, data, AI output, weather, location, or recommendations will be accurate, complete, current, or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so portions may not apply to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VENATRIQ and its affiliates, officers, employees, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, use, or opportunity arising from the Services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability for claims arising from the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid VENATRIQ for the Services during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars. This limitation does not apply where prohibited or to liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VENATRIQ and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, User Content, violation of these Terms, or violation of another person's rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from VENATRIQ's own unlawful conduct.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory law requires otherwise. This choice does not deprive consumers of non-waivable protections or court access available where they live.

Please contact support@venatriq.com with a description of a dispute so both sides can try to resolve it informally. This is not a prerequisite to exercising statutory rights, filing a timely claim, contacting a regulator, seeking urgent relief, or using an eligible small-claims process.

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified only as much as necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a business transaction or reorganization.

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, the Acceptable Use Policy, and any purchase-specific terms are the complete agreement for the Services they cover.
