Organize trail-camera photos

Connect camera images with their real location and capture time for private scouting.

Where to start in the appMenu → Field library → Trail Cameras
  1. 01

    Add or open a camera

Choose Trail Cameras. Add a camera at its actual coordinates or open an existing trail-camera pin. Name it clearly so you can tell your camera locations apart.

Keep camera records in one private library. Photo imports are supported; a camera brand does not establish an automatic provider connection.
  2. 02

    Review the camera setup

Check the camera's actual coordinates, brand, optional model and facing direction before saving. Use current map center only when it matches the camera's real location.

Review the camera coordinates and facing direction. The example uses the public demonstration map area.
  3. 03

    Import the photos

Save images from the camera provider or card, then choose Import photos. You can import up to six at a time. Use actual capture times in the displayed timezone, or leave the time unknown.

  4. 04

Choose whether AI may use them

In the camera's Camera section, enable Use this camera's photos in Hunt Intel if you want that evidence included. Private AI evidence in Privacy & Security must also be enabled, and the account must have Hunt Intel access.

  5. 05

    Maintain the records

Open a photo to correct its capture time or delete it. Use Camera to edit the camera location. Removing a camera keeps its photos in Field Album. Hunt Feed camera cards describe imports into VENATRIQ, not a live connection to the device.

WHEN SOMETHING LOOKS DIFFERENT

Quick answers.

Why was a photo not used in my plan?

Nearby plan analysis can use up to three recent, dated photos from different cameras within two miles. Unknown-date and older-than-30-day photos stay in the gallery but are excluded. Consent, membership and the selected analysis area also matter.
